User:Digitaleffie works at the Smithsonian's Provost Office. Prior to that, I worked at the Smithsonian Institution Archives, the Smithsonian Photography Initiative and in the private software sector in UX and project management. As an editor, I am interested in women in science as well as diverse U.S. history. I work on increasing understanding of open access for GLAM institutions (see "The Impact of Open Access on Galleries, Libraries, Archives, & Museums" and I am a member of Wikimedia DC.
