Hi there! I'm Narumi.SBT, an Wikimedian from country of sushi🍣
I mainly edit Japanese Wikipedia, and occasionally contribute to Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons. I enjoy writing about people, places, and historical topics that spark my curiosity.
I began this journey around 2020, when I noticed a minor error in my professor’s biography and decided to fix it. (I waited for someone to fix it for several years, but nobody appeared, so... )
Looking forward to collaborating with you!
What I am
I’m a Wikimedian, and also a program, partnership, and grant coordinator working at the intersection of civil society, public policy, urban culture, and education.
Plus: Enthusiast of strolling and maps/swimmer/sometimes I'm also an artist and poet 😉
I joined Wikimania in Katowice, Poland, in 2024, which really helped expand my involvement in the Wikimedia community.
I'm currently interested in social inclusion within the Wikimedia movements, and in archiving collective memories related to war and conflict.
Background
My main academic background is international relations, political science and gender studies. I have also spent some time studying diversity in arts and social education at an academic institution.
