2006:Wikimania/Bids
Wikimania 2006 was held in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the greater Boston area. A field of many city bids was reduced to four finalists, Boston, Toronto, Milano, and London; and a run-off was held between Boston and Toronto. A list of early bids can be found in the history of Wikimania 2006.
