ASBS Feedback

Affilates engaged in the Affiliate Selected Board Seat process. The Election Facilitators will gather feedback on the process in this meeting. The meeting is open to all official voters and candidates.

The process this year was unlike previous elections. All affiliates, user groups, thematic organizations and chapters were allowed to participate. The number of participating entities tripled. Many of them were new to this process, might not have been aware of the existence of the Wikimedia Foundation, might not have been aware of the existence of the Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation, might not have been aware that affiliates have selected two board members in the past.

The purpose of the meeting is to gather feedback on the process and note lessons learned. The feedback will be included in the debrief of the Election Facilitators to the affiliates and the Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation.
