Wiki-Endorsing Thesis
Description[edit | edit source]
Today Wikipedia is the best encyclopedia ever created by man-kind. Yet, when compared to the knowledge of an expert on a specific subject, wikipedia can be seen as a good starting point that can be improved. The Wiki-Endorsing Thesis project aims at substantially improving the quality of wikipedia pages by means of student scholarship.
Relationship to the theme[edit | edit source]
This session will address the conference theme — Wikimedia, Free Knowledge and the Sustainable Development Goals — in the following manner: Platform regulation and Wikimedia's role in it relates to all UN SDGs that require information and knowledge to be openly accessible (1, 3, 4, 9, 10, 16 and 17).

Each Space at Wikimania 2019 will have specific format requests. The program design prioritises submissions which are future-oriented and directly engage the audience. The format of this submission is a:
