Description
[edit | edit source]Copyright is useful for artists, but is often a hindrance for Wiki. That's also because copyright laws are different per country. Freedom of Panorama and Fair Use make things easier, but are not accepted in many countries. These issues will be discussed in this session.
Relationship to the theme
[edit | edit source]This session will address the conference theme — Wikimedia, Free Knowledge and the Sustainable Development Goals — in the following manner:
- This session will discuss copyright. Tips will be given to use copyright in a positive way.

- Attendees will have more knowledge on copyright
- Knowledge about how to go to the limits of the copyright rules
