Title
[edit | edit source]Description
[edit | edit source]Since many years the Wikimedia Foundation supports inclusive politic about minorities. Gender, sexual and ethnic identities are highlight and many things are do to help the representativeness. The Friendly Space Policy it’s one of this, User groups supporting and organization of Wiki Loves Prides are other interesting and valuable actions to representativeness.
But I think we can do better. In my experience of GLAM events, the cross subjects between GLAM and diversity are very efficient, especially about feminism. They attract lot of people who are motivate by GLAM and/or diversity. This example are very interesting because the public is mixed and we know in the wiki world differences are our strength.
But how organizing an efficient event with this specific communities? What is the specifics needs ? How create a safe and productive space ? How create links between the participants and begin a community ? What are the most important particularity of this sort of event ?
I propose to answering at this questions with my experience with french GLAM institutions and french queer communities and your participation.
