|This is an Accepted submission for the Partnerships space at Wikimania 2019.|
Description[edit | edit source]
Activists and organisations from the free knowledge movement are building important partnerships at the national level. This session will start with presentations of partnerships between Wikimedia and Creative Commons activists, as well as other organisations, that have been succesfully launched in Denmark, Indonesia and Slovenia.
We hope that participants in this session will also share their experiences and best practices concerning partnerships at the national level.
The session will consist of following talks, followed by time for questions and discussion:
How we made Open Denmark (Peter Leth)
WMID and CCID: A story from Indonesia perspective (Rachmat04)
Building coalition in advocacy process: lessons learned in Slovenia (Maja Bogataj Jančič)
This session will be moderated by Alek Tarkowski (Centrum Cyfrowe Foundation / Creative Commons Poland).
