Wikidata and the community and public institutions
Building a community from scratch, specially in a context where all the other projects besides Wikipedia are not well known. So how do we begin? How to interact with libraries, archives, local government to release their data to Wikidata? How to organize events about Wikidata?
With this poster we try to:
Build an "Elevator pitch" for public institutions on why is a good thing to use Wikidata
Describe the work of the local community (adding huge amounts of data to Wikidata)
Getting people to know wikidata (how? and why?) and forming a community
Organizing events
