Wikiclubs in Armenia: when getting and sharing knowledge is cool[edit | edit source]
Description[edit | edit source]
Wikiclubs which work in various, especially rural settlements of Armenia are a cool place for getting and sharing free knowledge. Wikiclubs which are attended mainly by the schoolchildren, give them opportunity to continue learning also after the classes. Wikiculbs have the main aim to provide a place for the editors to contribute into wiki projects. In Armenian wikiclubs the students work mainly in Wikipedia, Wictionary and Wikisource projects. The coordinators of the wikiclubs try to make an attractive atmosphere for the editors. It can be various educational and cultural events, excursions, reading and discussions of books, some intellectual games. As wikiclub coordinators with years of experience we would like to share our daily challenges and achievements with you and tell how we try to create a better educational atmosphere for the students.
