Basic live streaming[edit source]

I would propose an alternative, much simpler, live streaming setup that can be used for non-keynote sessions. That requires just a smartphone, tripod and either a wireless mic directly to the phone or a connector to hook up to the audio equipment in the room (if there is one). With that it could be possible to stream several parallel sessions. Here is a video showing of the first option: https://www.facebook.com/jardenberg/videos/10156997250915953/ (in Swedish). Also, since sound is actually the most important for any video, you could actually do pretty good with a decent USB webcam (like a Logitech c920) as long as there is proper audio. That means that you don't need a capture card. Also, if the laptop is powerful enough (like a modern Dell XPS 13) you can actually run the slides on the same computer as you stream from (as long as the slides are simple in themselves). That's how we did the Diversity Conference live stream in Stockholm. Ainali (talk) 22:39, 11 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
