I am Krishna Chaitanya (KC) Velaga, from India. When first got involved with Wikimedia projects in late 2014, I was extensively involved in military history content on English Wikipedia and other a bit India-related content. Later, my interest shifted to Wikidata for a short while, and eventually Wikimedia Commons, where I am currently active. My interest on WCommons is with vector graphics and filling the gaps where a subject has no image/media before. Along the way, somewhere in 2017, I got into organizing outreach activities for Wikimedia projects, including establishing a Wiki-club at my grad club, VVIT WikiConnect. After 2020, I started to inceasingly get involved with the technical areas of Wikimedia projects, especially, things that have to do with Python (bots, tools etc.), statistics, data analytics and visualizations, and outreach related to that. Currently, I am spend majority of my volunteer time with Wiki Loves Monuments, Indic MediaWiki Developers User Group, and Small wiki toolkits initiative.
