2019:Meetups/Wikimedia Asia-Oceania meetup

The 8th annual Wikimedia Asia-Oceania Meetup at Wikimania (previously known as Wikimedia Asia Meetup) brings together Wikimedians from all of the continents Asia & Oceania together at Wikimania. Although most attendees are traditionally from East, Southeast and South Asia and the Pacific, anyone who is from or is interested in the Wikimedia movement in the geographical regions of Asia and Oceania — from Turkey to New Zealand, Russia to the Maldives — is welcome to attend!

It is one of the highly participated meetups 50 participants attended in the meetup during Wikimania 2018 and 19 participants attended in the recent meeting during Wikimedia Summit last March 2019.

Sharing of recent events: ESEAP Strategy Summit 2019, and Wikimedia Education SAARC conference and planning for other events in Asia-Pacific in 2020
Wikimania 2020 including the possible largest Asia-Oceania meetup since Wikimania 2013 in Hong Kong.
