Abstract[edit | edit source]
The built heritages in Rural area of the state of West Bengal in India are such huge in number that a majority of them will cease to exist in future due to lack of facilities for proper conservation. Many of them have undergone a sea of changes over a period of time. If I can photographically document them and upload them in Wikimedia Commons with all details, it can help history researchers as well as authors writing articles on such built heritages in Wikipedia. Also it can help in promoting in Rural Heritage tourism and can even attract conservationists. I am doing such documentation funded by rapid grants of Wikimedia Foundation since 2018.
