Abstract[edit | edit source]
Lingua Libre is a language documentation project, developed by Wikimédia France. Its goal is to collaboratively build a multilingual audio and video corpus under free license, in order to expand knowledge about languages and in languages, on Wikimedia projects and the web in general.
This tool allows to record a large amount of words and phrases in a short time, and to automatically upload all the recordings as individual files to Wikimedia Commons.
After an overview of the project, you will attend a demonstration of the tool, before getting your own hands onto it for the final part.
Session Outcomes[edit | edit source]
Learn about Lingua Libre, get to grips with the tool and be part of the project!
I'm planning to attend this session live![edit | edit source]
