Abstract[edit | edit source]

Wikidata provides general-purpose data about the world to everyone about nearly 100 Million concepts to date. Our data is used widely in the Wikimedia projects and beyond. With this wide use come growing expectations and responsibility. We'll take a look at what data quality on Wikidata even means, why it matters and what tools we have to improve it.

Session Outcomes[edit | edit source]

You will understand what different aspects to data quality on Wikidata there are and which problems we have. You will learn how to measure data quality on Wikidata and what tools and processes exist to improve it.
