English: "WikiProject Govdirectory is an effort to document and model all public organizations of the world, on all levels, on Wikidata. It is a very large project in the sense that the number of organizations is high, and it is a difficult project since figuring out how the public organizations in a country relate to each other usually require specific local knowledge. These challenges makes it a perfect fit for a WikiProject!

In this workshop we will show how you get started with a country. We will look at some of the existing ones to show what are some good practices in dividing the task into smaller, manageble chunks. Ther are already several different SPARQL-queries that can be used as an inspiration to see what coverage Wikidata has and how to determine when something is "done". Finally, we will look at a few different tools for tracking changes and coverage which helps users stay on top of the progress and ensure that the quality stays high.

Participants of the workshop don't need to be experts on Wikidata, but an average familiarity with the Wikimedia projects will be helpful."
