Welcome to Stockholm and Wikimania Culture Crawl at Thursday 15 August 2019![edit | edit source]

If you want to take part, please sign up below. This is an opportunity in the pre-conference days to see, explore and understand more of the Swedish culture and cultural heritage. The event takes place in some of the main attractions in Stockholm during Thursday 15 August. There are going to be connections to the theme of the conference and opportunities to shorter edit-a-thons and with possibilities to more material from the institutions to take part of.

There will be two separate tracks to choose between. One in central Stockholm around Gamla stan (Old Town) and Nationalmuseum and one track around Royal Djurgården, a national city park with the open-air museum Skansen. We will walk together and there will be time for talks and socializing. Volunteers will be following us along the day.

There is a limited number of places and you register by signing up below. The tour is a great way to get to know each other before the conference. At the last stop there is a room for us and plenty of time to write in some selected articles so bring your laptop! There will also be good opportunities for photography during the day. The numbers of attendees are limited and the tours are free of charge.
