Abstract[edit | edit source]
This workshop will aim to teach the basics of editing Wikisource and will rely on the proofread extension.
This workshop will focus on teaching the basics of editing Wikisource. As the language of the session is English, we will focus on English Wikisource. We will share some of the basic tools and templates that help while editing Wikisource
This will be a good knowledge sharing activity as we aim to introduce Wikisource to a bigger audience so that we are able to increase the diversity of languages and contributors on Wikisource projects in the future.

Workshop on Simple Digitization, Uploading and Indexing Public Domain text in Wikisource[edit | edit source]

Abstract[edit | edit source]
This workshop will aim to teach the basics of uploading and indexing the public domain which will be proofread in Wikisource
This workshop will focus on teaching the basics of uploading public domain text, making an item on wikidata, and indexing it in Indonesian wikisource. We will do the the session is English, but we will focus on Indonesian Wikisource cause that's the only wikisource that has the feature of integration of wikidata and wikisource that i know. We will share step-by-step slides before the workshop to ease the process of the workshop
I hope this will be a good activity as we aim to make people not just know only the process of proofreading and validating, but the process to include the text that they want to proofread in Wikisource so we can increase the diversity of languages and contributors and also increase the implementation of integration of wikidata and wikisource.
Only the one who already upload some files to Wikimedia common can participate in this session cause there is some blockage from Wikimedia Common for new editor who upload PDF files.
