2023:Expo space
16–19 August 2023, Singapore and Online
The Expo Space at Wikimania 2023 will be on the fourth level in a general public accessible area near the conference rooms. Expo space is similar in nature to previous in person Wikimanias which had community villages in that attendees can approach for information. 2023 will be different as the focus of this space will be on the Wikimedia Foundation projects, and global committees. The proposed space will be divided between:
- Meta-Wiki
- Wikimedia Commons
- Wikimedia Outreach
- Wikispecies
- Wikibooks
- Wikidata
- Wikinews
- Wikipedia
- Wikiquote
- Wikisource
- Wikiversity
- Wikivoyage
- Wiktionary
- Affiliates - for Affiliates, User groups, and any other thematic groups to share
- Wiki Loves & other competitions
- Community Committees - Steering Committee, Language Committee, MSG, Affcomm, LDWG
- Tech and tools
There will be timetable created depending on the final space configuration and availability of people. It may also be co-located with a Wiki store of some format.
There will also be some behind the scene support activities for volunteers to help with, like uploading content from the event to various projects.
Poster sessions and Photography campaigns gallery will also be part in the Expo space. We will provide details on due time.
